You are cordially invited to the first annual Gluten Free Gala, a part of The Great Gluten Free Expo, in Birmingham, Al. This is an evening to remember, without worrying about the kitchen or the menu! In addition to everything being gluten free, we also aim to make everything dairy free as well!
Our esteemed chef is none other than Chef Sean Butler of Food Studio B. His specialty is in foods that are fresh, organic, whole, and delicious. The menu: Foccacia bread, fresh herbs, garlic confit, Sausage Stuffed Chicken Breast witha Blood Orange Basil Concasse, Portabello and Green Apple Pasta, salad with White Balsamic, and Neopolitain Cake ALL Glutne and Dairy free!!
Entertainment is the well-loved local band, 2Blu and the Lucky Stiffs!
Our guest speaker is the world-renowned Dr. Alessio Fasano, chief researcher at the University of Maryland and the Center for Celiac Research.
Jules Shepard, from Jules Gluten Free, will also be there to make a special appearance. Join Sean and Dr. Fasano for an entertaining Iron Chef style competition!
All proceeds will go to the Center for Celiac Research, The Bell Center, Shelby ARC, and the Therapy Ranch.
